Vince Redhouse

Vince Redhouse has helped the Council by being available to enlighten all with his musical gifts. Vince preformed at this years Religious Appreciations Dinner and 2008 State Convention Mass sharing his spiritual and inspiring talent with the saxophone and Native American Flute. We are honored to present Vince with this month’s award.

Family of the Month - July 2008

Tony and Maryann Marino

Tony and his wife Maryann have been dedicated to Church activities with setting up weekly masses at Fellowship Square and entertaining at Council functions. Tony relies on Maryann to keep his calendar straight and make sure he is on time for those events. Tony has made his keyboard talent available for the Chapter Priest Appreciation Dinner, 2008 State Convention and Council dinners. We all enjoy his wit and personality and thank Maryann for keeping him in line. We congratulate them for their service to Council and Church.

EVENTS

 August

23 - At the request of Most Rev. Gerald F. Kicanas Secretary of the Dept of Justice and Humane Development of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops, John Carr will speak on “Dangers and Directions for the Catholic Voter”.
Time: 7:30 PM
Location: St. Francis Cebrini Parish Hall, 3201 E Presidio Rd. 

 29 - ST. JOSEPH’S YOUTH CAMP “WORK WEEKEND” 29th of Aug to 1st Sept., Mormon Lake Arizona.
This a free weekend to the Knights of Columbus Families all the camp staff ask, is for your “sweat equity” (4 hours est.).
One catch:  there is a MANDATORY R.S.V.P. to the Camp Secretary (Jolene) at (480) 449-0848 or you can respond via e-mail at admin@sjycaz.com   Check out St. Joe’s website for directions www.sjycaz.com and click on the “volunteers” link for more information about the work weekend.
